BRAJLEM – WRITTEN IN BRAILLE – is her first solo album, recorded and released in 2010. It combines classical music with strong jazz influence.The title „BRAILLE” carries the main idea of the project. „Braille” is a metaphor that permeates the worlds – mental, spiritual and physical. It is a code, a separate language that is assigned to love. Indefinite form. The sphere of feelings, body and spirit is a bridge that connects everyone without divisions. Love – is the leitmotif of the phonogram, which is recorded in the poems of Halina Poświatowska, Zbigniew Herbert and the author’s works by Kamila Kraus. The author of the album was inspired by the observation of the world of blind people. Kraus chose to this project poems by Zbigniew Herbert and Halina Poswiatowska, she also made debut with her own lyrics. Her project is unique in the domestic market because of its design – all texts for the CD booklet had been printed out in Braille alphabet so that the blind people could also immerse themselves into the world of words and feelings.
